SeaStryder 6000 Designed to provide 4000 cu.ft. cargo volume and 10,000 lb payload equivalent to one 53 ft tractor-trailer load. Can be configured to transport up to 100 passengers in a double-decker seating arrangement. Can be operated either in ground effect (high speed ferry; express cargo delivery; etc.) or at altitude (regular regional aircraft applications) Other potential applications include military applications; water-capable UAV, amphibious troop carrier, high-speed aircraft, ground-effect SEAL team insertion craft, etc. A 2.15x scaled version of the Stryder600
I clicked on invest and gave them a million dollars. I think it was a very wise investment. I'm gonna hold out for the big one too. I hate to bash anyones idea because I'm happy people are motivated to make stuff like this but why do they keep doing it. There must be 100 vaporware, i need money, airplane projects out there. There are much easier ways to make money.

Jason, I think it's more about losing money.

Extra, beech, mooney, lancair, cirrus, epic, adams, liberty, piper, eclipse, diamond have all gone bankrupt and been sold/restructured trying to build airplanes. I really think its impossible to make money doing this. Vans RV is pretty much the only company i can think of that has made money. Certifying a plane is financially impossible these days.
