Great Job Alejandro! Nice Video and Great Music for the scene! A cub is a great way to see your world. I learn something new everytime I go up.

Operate that thing on dirt or grass and it will treat you even better. There is plenty of non paved flat spots on a modern airport. I'm sure your airport authority won't care!? ;)

Best,
Grant

Way to go.
You look totally calm and in control on that prop start.

That is pure stick and rudder, about as pure as it gets. Outstanding!

ah yes, pure flight between man and machine takes me back to the roots of my flying and that's why I still own a cub. at my age I need two planes like I need a hole in the head but I can never decide which one I could do without-fly on.
nice video, thanks.

Thought you flew from the rear seat solo in a Cub. Just saying!

it may have have had wing tanks installed/filled, could be front seat doable.

Thanks guys!

Grant we have a grass runway at Santa Paula near by; Grass + J3 = Heaven

My J3 is largely unmodified and the weight and balance works out fine for front seat flying - I asked a few times and some of them are like this. Even with the fuel tank full. In this flight the trim was left at neutral and not even touched.

 for some reason I really enjoy hand-propping the little cub.
