Greetings Fellow Beech Owners, My name is Daniel Hammer and I just purchased my second Bonanza. It is a 1962 P35, ser no. D-6580, IO-470, N433L. Flew her home from Ft Stewart GA, two weeks ago to my home in Southern Maryland. We live on a private strip here, MD50. My first bonanza was a 1966 V35A, IO-520-BB, N9569Q. We lost her in a landing accident, in which my partner was flying. Pilot fine, airplane was scrapped. I have been in aviation my whole life and retired from the Marine Corps in 2008. I was a Crew Chief on CH-53A/D/E Superstallion Helicopters. My last duty station was here in Maryland at NAS Patuxent River. My Dad and I have been around airplanes forever. I grew up in Seattle WA, and my parents still live there. We have a Broussard with a P&W 985 in her, and my Dads homebuilt amphib a SeaFire. It has a IO-470 and is a 4 place. It is a beautiful airplane, took him 18 years to build. He is now building the Me-262s up at Paine Field with his company "Legend Flyers". Looking forward to learning all about V-tails from the forum. As I love flying this airplane. v/r Daniel Hammer GySgt USMC Pilot/A&P 1962 P35 N433L

Welcome Daniel, Great first post, pictures and everything. Thank you for your service to our country. I'm sorry to hear about your V35, I'm glad your partner was ok. Congrats on the new P. How about some pictures of that Broussard?

Thanks for the requests! Here is the Brussard, I just finished the conditional for Dad and we are checking MAG-Drop.
And during the same visit I did a "annual" on the Sea-Fire. Every year I go up for 4th of July and we go over to Blakely Island for the weekend. So I am try to be home for a few days prior and a few days after to look over the planes, and I sign off the Brussard for him. Looks like a Lake with the engine mounted on backwards (or is that "frontwards"?).
