First time on any type of forum like this.

I am a new bonanza pilot, I have full use of my father in laws 1950 B35. It is a 4500 hr airframe with a less then 100 hr E-225-8 and electric prop. It is absolutely the cheapest flying on the planet, all I have to do is put fuel in the tanks and keep it clean.

Now a little background on me, I am a nonworking CFI. My wife has a Comm. Cert. and is a manager at NorCal Tracon. When i met my wife I was a starving college student working on a Multi rating and she had just bought a 62 Travelair. We don't have the Travelair anymore but we are still together. I have build a Series 5 Kitfox with my Father. I now have a Skylane I am doing a complete rebuild on. I enjoy working on them as much a flying them. I have about 50 hours flying the bonanza and like it more every flight.

I don't have any pictures of the bo on my computer but will try to get some soon.
I look forward to chatting with what seems like a very fine group of people.

Josh,

WELCOME!

Always glad to welcome new folks, and sounds like you have some experience with planes.

What we need, is pictures (proof<g>)

We always like pictures, as half of us can't read..... also, pix of your Kitfox, Skylane... and even your wife <g>......

Now, the Bo is a great plane, and the early ones like you have are just great flying machines with easy handling and light controls.

Here is a pic of my skylane with my daughter. This was before I took it apart and hauled it home. I know it is a lot of work but got it cheap.

Welcome Josh! What a gorgeous paint job on that Bonanza. Classic but sharp.
