I have not been able to tolerate the aerobatic thing for more than about 10 minutes.....and then I start feeling rather ill. I had the privilege of riding with Daniel Heligoin (French Connection) back in the 90's as he put his CAP-10 through its paces along New Smyrna Beach. It was great fun, but I didn't get my legs and my stomach back for about 2 hours after we landed. ....hard to believe it will be 10 years in May since he and Montaine died in their training accident.

He ended up inverted but with his unusual attitude experience he firewalled it pushed the yoke to the dash and turned it back over. The wingtip just missed the ground.. Same thing happened to a friend of mine in a Caravan, short final at IAH. He had a guy in the back (monitored pipeline instruments) who really, really 'lost it'. All ended well, due to his aerobatic experience. We should all really do this.
