If anyone is getting a poor connection, you can get the remote antenna from Spruce pretty cheap or Amazon has them in a 2 pack for about the same price so I got an extra for my hangar neighbor. The stock antenna worked OK, but sometimes I would get significant delays. With the remote antenna still installed inside the hangar I get an instant response so it definitely improves the operation. If you buy a new unit, I would advise ordering the remote antenna at the same time. I’m guessing James stocks them.

I have quite a few of these shipping out today, and we offer the remote antenna too. Rule of thumb is that with your hangar door shut and you can't get a cell signal with your personal cell, it's probably worth the remote antenna. With the remote antenna you want to get it outside and as high as you can.
