How is the GCU485 attached on Matt’s picture, I wonder? He doesn’t have the Dzus (?) fasteners in the edges, somehow the GCU is in the rails without those. That would help me reduce the amount of space the GCU takes.
The panel it is mounted in has the Dzus at each corner. The GCU itself fits in a cutout in that plate. It just has a camlock to hold it in

That is adjustable, but that raises the carriage bar height when closed. When I do that, the loading bar side of the carriage hits the scissor link that is in the aft side of the gear. Has potential to knock out zerk fittings, or worse. So… need to figure out how to get that better. Adam, does your friend with the P180 and ac air tug have any issue with that? Looks like his scissor is a bit more extended and higher, perhaps. Which is what got me asking about gear extension. Looks a tad bit low. The Lazy Susan of the Ac Air Tug should fit without hitting the scissor, from what I hear from my guy with the one based at field.

So I’ve seen a small panel mounted mirror on a few P180s now, for viewing passengers. Here is an example, but I’ve seen others. Anyone have a mirror they like? Where to buy? Attachment: 62064829-926F-45A1-96FC-BC0C126800A6.jpeg

If there is anyone that would like to have something 3D printed with manufacture quality, please let me know. I designed and printed pen holders, flight log holder, and an IPAD holder for the back seat on my cub. I put this out there because of the comments wanting different storage options and such. We can design it if you have dimensions also. If you have a design then just go to jawstec.com. Hope this helps

Does anyone has experiences with turning tyres on the P180? We have a lot of wear on the outside of the main gear tires. It looks like Piaggios maintenance does switch tyres from left to right, however our maintenance guys say they won't do it, because they believe it would lead to unexpected flat tires ... any experience with this topic would be highly appreciated! Thx.
