Question for the Cessna 180 / 185 drivers, and possibly the Beech drivers. I'm in the process of redoing my A185F interior. How may of you have reinstalled your headrests? would you take them out like we did years ago? or would you now reinstall them for safety reasons? I did recently install the BAS shoulder harnesses for the front seats. I have headrests for the front and back middle row seats.

Thanks
Andy

I did not have them in my Cardinal, I went to the junk yard to buy some Toyota Camry head rests which were a perfect fit. They are always better to have rather than not in my opinion. Passengers like them if they recline their seats and sleep.

Suggest you look at headrests like those in the new Subarus. They ratchet forward to a number of positions. Very comfortable and stylish. I rebuilt mine and covered in leather for my 182. Has to make very thick for comfort. But I now have my guy who scours junkyards looking for some ratcheting Subaru’s.

Best,

Tom

Hi Andy

When we refurbished our 180 we included the headrests. Wouldn't be without them.
