Closed on this bird yesterday. Super excited about my next flying chapter. Went from the A36 to a PA-34-310 to the Jetprop. Start training in a week. The performance of these planes is amazing.

Congrats! They are great airplanes! Please join the rest of us PA46 folks on MMOPA if you haven’t already ... lots of good info and resources. Plus the virtual convention is in a few weeks and there will be a lot of good info for new owners - check it out!

Cheers!

David, I will certainly follow up with updates and pics as soon as I start training.

MMOPA is a great organization much like the Beechtalk community.

Did you sniff the turkey feathers on the 18 before you flew it!? Admit it - you did! ...and there is nothing wrong with that! You had a blessed life walking the floating airport and being that close.

I was only a lowly Flight Surgeon. So all my F18 time was in the back.

oh well...

All the fun, none of the responsibility.

I am in the same boat as you except about a month earlier. I closed on my Jet Prop in the middle of July. I did my training, and have had a few adventures. Now it is in avionics getting a few things done. It is definitely a sweet ride.

Congrats!

Second Joel's recommendation to join MMOPA. I purchased a Jetprop about 2 months ago and have ~40 hours so far... you won't be disappointed.

MMOPA is a wealth of information to help answer the 100+ questions you will have in the next few months.

Enjoy!
