You are breaking my heart

All that fancy graphics and stuff. Impressive. If I went to that trouble I'd post about two videos a year. Fine job. Lot a work.

I am a low quality high volume guy.

Well that's exactly why I post two videos per year!!!

Now you see why I'm hesitant to teach my wife more about flying? I'll be riding in the back soon...

Alex,

Great video! My wife and I viewed it together and plan to adopt some of your protocols. Thanks for the post and prompting us to imulate and be more safe.

Flew a 32 minute trip to Yuma today for a leasee. His lawyer owns a 421 but has no experience in a jet. He taxied, worked the radios, and hand flew the whole trip back to KSDL. Did a fine job. Here is his landing. He's got the bug I'd say. I feel like a crack dealer.

Great instructing Mark! You coached him right through it...well done! When you gonna work on that CFI cert? ;)

Only question I have is flaps in the turn? Just a lowly Navajo driver, so not familiar with the II flaps.

I can sign guys off on SiC training. That's enough.

Not sure what you are asking? Did I deploy landing flaps during the turn?

If so it was a speed control thing. A tad close to airport.

Great video Alex!
Loved your wife calling your speed 3knots over on short final.

Yeah, you reached down and deployed landing flaps just as he rolled into the turn. But, I get the speed management thing.

Flaps in Citations are hydraulic actuated and fine to deploy in a turn. He was high and fast close in and have to get out the drag to slow down and go down. Otherwise can be difficult to get a stabilized approach at close to Vref.

CJP guys. My schedule doesn't allow,me to arrive until mid-day Friday. Dropping $2500 for me and Blondie doesn't make sense. I see Saturday night there is no planned dinner. Would love to meet you for dinner and drinks.

I would suggest the The Palms. Very close and very nice.
