I bought one and have some thoughts. It's the best single piston I've ever flown. It's stable and easy to fly. The performance is ludicrous: 1200nm range, 800lbs with full fuel, 270kts, 16 GPH LOP with cool temps , 90kts over the fence. Lots of lies about this type but it's not the death mobile I thought it was.

Thanks Rocky, as a Duke Restorer, people have NO IDEA what it takes to make these older twins restored and beautiful. I want to find a person that appreciates the effort.

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone would by a Cirrus or Bonanza over one of these. They are easy to fly and ridiculously fast.

The pressurization is supposed to be 5.0 but mine makes 3.0. No worries, I've done this before on the P Paron. I'm going to hook up the shop vac and chase down the leaks. I suspect this will be much much easier to address. Soapy water fixes all.

I guess I meant to say I'm not willing to pay what it costs! Self Insured!
