Yes kept it over the water... he did get somewhat high....
My guess is that over the water the height of fall you can survive vs the height needed for an aggressive ballistic parachute might just overlap...
On concrete probably not as much...

Now that would be a ride . . . better have a chute! According to their website they're working on an integrated chute connected to an onboard diagnostics computer that would detect a malfunction and automatically deploy the chute (manual deploy also).

I don't know, flying a bonanza any bird strike on the whole area of the windscreen is going to be a bad day.... flyign the Jet pack your slower and the target size is smaller...
In the Breezy at 60knots its not the bird strikes that bother me, its the bug strikes... Too small to duck or dodge and still sting..
