Cessna sold many of those aircraft to:
- flight schools/universities
- the federal government to be used for CAP, FBI, DEA...
Also, Cessna had a head-start with very two strong years, cirrus only came into the market by 2001.

Max, although true they did stop the "six" and Saratoga line, the piper matrix is unpressurized and was their replacemeant. Having had the opportunity to fly one, they're pretty sweet. Although not "flying" off the shelves, they do sell about a dozen a year.

Cirrus addressed this before, and the answer is that it's only a few knots faster. Wasn't worthwhile to add the cost and complexity to the airframe for a minor increase in speed.

Ok boys, I am definetely not the bright light but how in the world did I miss a B29 being in town? Where? Collings? Crappy day for the fathers day open house at Collings today...thought about it but didn't go.
