Tried the Oxidizer & California Purple today, played with it for about an hour, LOVED how much better my spinner looks for a measly $30 bucks! I think if I pound on it some (just take more time on it)I can maybe get to what the OP did on his, mine isn't there yet; but next to what it did look like, it's pretty spectacular.

So, you buy a 700 Superstar to go fast and then spend 8 hours polishing a spinner? :D

Thanks Mark, like I was saying, mine wasn't in good shape at all when I started, now I wish to hell I'd have taken a few pictures of before & after...the oxidizer pulled off a lot of oxidization (right word?) and then this purple stuff, well, I was impressed. I thought it was going to take a lot more effort, but it wasn't bad at all.

I'm one of the folks that learned that you can't have a spinner chromed, on this site, in the last month or so, so being able to make my spinner look like that, and for cheap, YAHOO!!!! GO BT!!!

Very nice work.

I'm starting to swear by Purple Polish.

A toothbrush and some Purple Polish works wonders on interior chrome. I just had my hangar rack bar (in the baggage compartment) off in my M35 today and cleaned it with PP.

Also have done the piano keys, the speaker and the window and curtain bars in the past. For an older, somewhat tired but still serviceable interior, it always amazes me how much better it can look when you get the surfaces to "pop" and become shiny.
