Here is a Gulfstream II SP for a $695,000. I know of a really nice one that went for less than $500,000. That's the price of the winglets! I know they old, they're noisy, and they're inefficient, but boy their price has dropped in the last couple of years. The easily sold in the threes before this economy got blasted. http://www.controller.com/listingsdetai ... AE8464C538

I heard your fuel bill after a coast to coast trip with those old Rolls Royce engines will be in the $15K-$20K neighborhood. Actually its $31,000 plus VNY-BOS with the tailwind just in fuel, GII, I recently flew one from Longview Tx. full of fuel-Van Nuys un pressurized,,,, I would of ran out over flagstaff refueled in ABQ. To just keep one ready to fly with out operational cost is $1,000,000-$1,200,000 a year and thats on the low side. Airplane thats been sitting for 2 years was $875k for the heavy check plus parts 390k not including paint and interior, the vertical had to be pulled 125k, Engines are calender 5 yr. 375k each. BIG NUMBERS ! Really got to be a fortune 20 company and stronger ! Rick...
