And DA40/SR20 just as good XC as a 182 You're half right, and I was wrong, the TB line is not produced anymore. BUT they had glass cockpit. G500, to be precise.
Not in production, but still available and very well supported by the factory and active owners group. Turbo normalized TIO540, built-in O2, 25K' ceiling, very roomy and comfortable, easy to maintain. Really a great plane and one of the best values out there.

Quote: How fast do they cruise? They're dogs - check-out that fat wing . The Lancair Columbia aka Ttx blows their doors off and that's with wheels down. Come to think of it, the Lancair blows the doors off every SEP on that list ...

I have always loved Mooney's but they are not selling, even with the nice upgrades. The Baron and Bo are great airplanes, they have had a nice facelift, but also not selling. Only thing that seems to be selling is the SR22, and having owned one for a few years, it is a nice plane, but I don't see how it really outshines the other aircraft 50:1 like it is selling. The market does speak though.
Just to put complete data in for discussion GAMA 2015 shipments as follows: Cirrus SR22/22T, 270 Mooney Ovation/Acclaim, 11 Beechcraft Bonanza/Baron, 41 Piper Matrix, 2 Market sure seems to have spoken especially on the Matrix.

Nice clean panel. Gear control box is the same as on the TBM. Username Protected wrote: Not in production, but still available and very well supported by the factory and active owners group. Is a Lancair/Columbia/TTX really any faster than a Bo or SR22, if flown at the same power settings and fuel flows? I question whether any differences would qualify as "blowing the doors off."
