Michael,

Wow, nicely done. So where are you that the plane is in Texas? Or did I just miss that part...

Tim

Well I had another thread. But I am from Dallas and just moved to Livermore, Ca. Got a good contract that will allow me to open my own aircraft maintenance shop. The plane is still back home for now but I will be hopefully flying it over the mountains soon.

Good work,
Glad to see planes being saved from salvage. Planes are not a renewable resource.

A lot of people have told me the same thing....more money has been spent of restoring it than it would have cost to buy a low time 150 but I wouldn't take much pride in a plane thats just been sitting all its life...914 had been sitting in that field for 4 years when I got it.

I stole the paint scheme from a 172 LOL and deleted the middle portion of the stripes. But mine is also metallic paint and not the flat colors like a factory paint job

Congrats on the contract. I am sure I can find some hangar space her in TN to keep the plane and exercise it for you. I mean have you seen the prices in CA? :D

The C-150/152 was one of the best planes Cessna produced...I'd like to have one for fun flying. Very nice paint job!
