With the new ones coming out next week, probably not much. Why would you want non-waas?

First off, there is no such thing as a 2 year old non-WAAS 500. If the seller is advertising it as such, $1.00 is too much...

How long ago were those discontinued? I never saw one. Very rarely do I see a 420.

You know, details aside, it is a good question. Let's assume that it's a good, clean non WAAS GNS500. What would it be worth? Good sized screen, plenty of other stuff one can display on it (traffic or wx). Should have some value, but understandably not too much.

Hard to say as there aren't that many of them on the market. A GNS 530 is worth about $7000. I would expect that to drop over the next year or so after Garmin starts shipping their replacement product due to be announced in a week. I would expect thousands less for a 500. Personally, I would rather pay a little more for a used GNS 530 or 530W. I think they would retain more of their value as they are more desirable.

Hi Doug

These model numbers and names are very confusing. There is no GNS500. Do you know if it is a GPS500.....which is a GPS only or a GNS530....which is a com/nav/gps ? There is a big difference in price and in practical application.
