Hi Mike,

Check out

www.redlineaviation.com

BE3 or ST1 lightweight, robust and portable enough to go in the nose baggage.

Add the s-1 vehicle adapter with round eye hook to connect up to any ball hicth riding push/pull toy :D

Mike

I bought one of these a few months ago and it is very nice:

Works great if all you need is a tow bar. Obviously you'll need some extra muscle to actually move the plane. Mike's sidewinder is great if no help is around and you need to move it yourself.

Just a word of caution on handling Barons by hand tow bars. Most portable tow bars will allow you to reach the nose with your off hand to get a better push. Don't do this! You can do some serious damage to the nose with the heal of your hand. The radome and most non-radar nose cones are just not designed to be pushed on. Very expensive to fix, BTW.

The straight 58 is somewhat movable, but the P58 is not going anywhere without some horse power. So, if you contemplate having to move on a secluded ramp somewhere by yourself, then buy the Redline Sidewinder or plant to crank the engines.

Thanks all for the info. I ordered something similar. Just trying to replace a hand tow bar that finally broke after MANY years.

I just picked up a BE3 & S-1 combo for a toy project I am working on...
