Hi,
I'm 100% sure, in this forum are at least 25 people who can help me with that problem:

I'm looking for the part numbers for taxi and landing lights:

Bonanza F33A, Serial CE-1494.

I couldn't find them in the 28V electrics manual.
Thanks!

Christoph,

The part number will be on the back of the bulb. You can see the number without removing the one on the nose gear. I assume you have a 28V system. ?? Because of that I don't have the numbers in my head.

Here is a source, once identified:

Christoph:

There is a bulb page in your POH as well...

I'm pretty sure the landing light is a GE4596 and I can't remember the taxi light.

Thanks to paul, I checked the part numbers for the lights in my POH.

I'm surprised now:
Landing light: # 4596
Taxi light: # 4596

They are the same???

Can this be right?
Is it just the angle of installation that makes the light beam look different???

If you would like a better alternative, get the new LED light for Taxi light which you can set for steady light or pulse lighting and a HID landing light. Its very bright in front of my plane.

Douglas, I know, a LED light is on top of my wishlist.

Problem: The LED lights don't have a STC for EASA (Europe). As I have a European registered plane, I need to comply with Euroepan rules.

Next plane will be US registered.

I keep the LED on the gear strut as the taxi light because of its durability. I had a 50W HID and after the high costs it broke in short order due to vibration or hard landing. When I drop my gear my pulse LED can be seen forever away. I get comments all the time.

Is there any way you can say "Thats how the plane came when I bought it"? Just kidding, good luck

That was exactly what I just thouth when I was reading your post.

Due to the legal questions, I have not been interested in LED and HID light.
Can I just exchange the bulbs? Nothing else??? Could be worth a try then. :cross:

I will take pictures tonight to show the brightness of both.
