Question for people who fly or have flown Cessna 421's.

If you were flying a 350nm trip, what would your flight profile be? Your airports are both in the plains area of the country, no mountains on a "no wind" day.

Curious what is your thought process on climb, cruise, and decent altitudes as well as power settings, prop speeds and fuel flow.

Depends on the winds and bumps mostly, but generally I would be around 16-17K. Been too long to remember power settings. Spend as much time in cruise above the NA traffic but not spend too much time climbing and descending.

Your 421 profile isn't that different, though you can afford to stay low into a huge headwind where the King Air suffers more there.
