That is a tragedy. I can't speak publicly here.

either they had no fear of being discovered or they had a stencil premade. maybe not gang related but made to look that way by some noise freak group(green extreme).

I'm just happy these airports are full of security professionals and FAA representatives for ramp checks to keep us, the pilots safe and also to keep the general population safe from possible terrorists.

However, keeping the planes safe, well that's another story. :duck:

A pilot can't even walk to his plane without an escort in the name of safety but apparently a hoodlum with a backpack full of aerosol cans has no problem.

What's the saying? "Fences and locks only keep people out that are supposed to be there" ???? :deadhorse:

Would a solvent in the paint have damaged the acrylic windows?

I think they should just fly it like that. Make for one hell of a story, and I bet you would get a lot less BS from the FBOs.

I read it was removed without damaging the exterior.

The good news here is that since the greenies got hold of over-the-counter spray paint, it is now mostly crap and will wash off with a hose.

Still, the incident is just another reminder that airport security is just poor theatre.

Thats always one of my worries when I park on a desolated ramp.

Blast, is that why I can't keep a coat of paint on my patio furniture?

I have an alphanumeric solution for the MS13 gang problem:
AR15
M14
M16
M4
Just to name a few. :bat:
