Hello All! My name is John Reiter and I own a 1963, Model P (IO470), Bonanza. I’ve owned this airplane for almost a year now. I keep it at a tie down at the Livermore Airport (KLVK). Even though I have had my pilot’s license since 1971 (I was 12), this is the first airplane I have owned. So far, so good. I included a link to website that has pictures of my airplane. None of them were taken by me. One of the pictures, 1/22/07, was taken the day after I had flown the airplane to LVK. I had just completed my check out. http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/045438.html

Hi John- Beautiful plane--you can be very proud-- Just had to comment--I learned to fly at Livermore--LIvermore NAS that is--in 1945!! Pretty sure NAS is gone--think that's where NASA Lawrence Livermore Lab is now--had a daughter that lived in Hercules--used to visit her by flying in to Buchanan--Concord isn't it--nearby--always wanted to stop at Livermore just to say I did!! Pat, I included a link that details some of the history of the Livermore Airport(s). I think the site that was NASA is now Attitude Aviation. Livermore currently has many homebuilts and warbirds, along with the ever classic Beechcrafts. I take my Bonanza up to CCR for maintenance. JR http://www.airfields-freeman.com/CA/Air ... #livermore

Hi Everyone
My name is Carlos Flores-Acosta, 42 years old from Caracas, Venezuela...I started flying in 1985, doing charter business flying an unforgetable Beech Baron C55 from the same year i was born..well, i flew also Seneca IIs and Cessna 310s occasionally for the same operator but my favorite was always the Baron..never flew the 58 model though and after that job, it went a long time (too much LOL) before i flew a Beech again..as i went to fly Cessna Caravan Is by night carrying newspapers, then to a Cessna 425 Conquest I, later went to work for a local bank flying a Citation II and later IAI Westwind...ok the bank went out of business..so did i hehe...but soon i was back to Beechcraft flying, in a B200...Then, back to Citations until last year when i was hired to fly a C90, a very pretty girl..and shortly after i stepped up to the B200....Gotta say i was the only survivor from an accident (Beech BE80 Queen Air) that happened taking off from SVFM (downtown Caracas) where i lost my flying buddy and best friend....It hasnt been easy but you bet i'd do it again...
Best Regards, and Merry Christmas

For as long as i can remember i've been into aviation, which i'm sure is the case for most people on here. I am now 21 with a PPL certificate and instrument rated. I already have my complex endorsement in a Piper Arrow and i'm based out of KFRG here in Farmingdale NY. Due to the excessive cost of college and flight training (currently time building for my CPL), i am not in the millionaire's club of owning my own airplane -yet-. My ideal job is to be a male stripper but i'd like to be an airline pilot for a little while, you know just a little something on the side. I am glad my friend Carlos introduced me to this site because i can learn a lot (about aircraft systems and such and not stripping although i heard some stories but i won't go there). Here are some pics of a few trips i did while getting my 50 hours x-country PIC time for my instrument rating.. Not a bad GS for an Archer huh? An aerial view of Niagara Falls.. Thanks for making this site Jeff!!

Yea i've been told countless amount of times to always have a plan B and well, all those people can't be wrong right!! Believe me amigo, i'm sure i am more of a pathetic salesman than you are LOL. You should see my try to sell a cellular phone. It's only the other day i know that there is such a thing as bluetooth technology even though it has been out for a few years now. When it comes to technology, i considered my knowledege to be way behind. LOL!

Hi everyone, and I hope that all had a wonderful Christmas with their families. I know mine was wonderful.
I love the idea of this board, and am surprised that it didn't exist any sooner -- great idea Jeff, and good job!
I have been around aviation since the age of 8. My father owned aircraft, and I would go flying with him in the summers. I got bit by the aviation bug early in my life, and have occassionally tried to do other things but keep coming back to my first love -- aviation. I have done a lot in this business -- basic flight instruction, advanced instruction (FlightSafety instructor in Wichita at then Raytheon facility), ferry pilot, air ambulance pilot, charter pilot, Chief Pilot and Dir. of Ops. of another charter company that is now defunct (after I left...whew!), and now I own a business that provides NAAA appraisals, buys, sells, manages, and operates aircraft -- Atlantis Aviation based in KC, Wichita, and OKC.
My favorite aircraft are Beechcraft -- I love them. I grew up around Piper from my Dad -- three of the four he owned were crap, but the Aerostar was an incredible plane. It figures as it wasn't really a true Piper. At any rate, having flown a great many aircraft in my career, I have always come back to and continue to use Beechcraft as the bar against which all others are measured.
Do I own a plane -- no. Do I want to own a plane -- doesn't really matter to me -- I have the best gig in that I help others buy planes and then get to manage/operate them. I get all of the benefits of ownership without the requirement of writing the checks. I consider myself lucky at this point.
One might wonder what I fly right now. I have only one aircraft in the stable, but that is fine -- managing aircraft takes a lot of time in order to do it right. The aircraft I fly is a 1992 Beechcraft Starship 2000A. It is owned by a company in Oklahoma City, and it is based there as well. This is the second Starship that I have flown in my career, and I never thought that I would have another chance to be in one again after the first Starship. I have found the first one -- thankfully it missed the grinder, and is awaiting its second life...someday.
At any rate and as I said, I love all things Beechcraft. Thanks for putting this board together, and I look forward to learning a lot from those on here.
Happy New Year!
ps...email me for pics as I don't have any posted...yet.
