What about the M2, is this halted also?
The Mustang is a nice little jet if thats what your after.
Seems like building jets is not for the faint hearted. Stick to building prop planes.

I wonder how much of their lunch Embraer is eating in that market segment.

I see 48 deliveries on Phenom 300 and 29 Phenom 100.

This is opposed to 38 Mustangs, 19 CJ2 and 21 CJ3.

There is nobody else who really makes light jets, Beech sold 3 Premiers. So any plane Embraer sells goes out of the pot that used to be for Cessna alone.

It's clearly a piece of the puzzle. NetJets made a deal for 300s, and that was the end for the Encore (and HBC's 400 XP) a while back. I still think the overall problem with light jets is the shrinking business margins that's making the biggest impact.

the top brass and Wall Streeters need to leave a little in the company so we can make exciting products once again.

If the buyers existed, investment dollars would as well. There is so much cash on the sidelines its unbelievable.

Seems to me I read recently that American businesses are sitting on record amounts of cash.

Exactly. Not investing..... protecting. They don't have confidence in the future. You don't go buy a new jet if you are not confident in the longevity of your earnings.

An overblown current ratio is not a sign of a healthy industry, its a sign of yesterday's success.

What is the current bonus depreciation and 179 expensing situation in the setting of small jets ? Didn't some of the recovery act provisions expire 12/31/12 ?

No dealer here. I got my Pilatus on Amazon for a rock bottom price. Best part? It was delivered in two days, no shipping!

I'm investing tons of cash in my business. It may be stupid under the current administration. 1) I'm not getting younger; 2) Despite the changing demographic, I believe the American people will return to reality and seek prosperity over mediocrity.
