Bobbi, As others have said, welcome to BT. I hope to see you in May, I can then show you a plane where the ground speed numbers are a bit faster. Tim

You are an inspiration and I might just send her your way. We have had our share of aviation ups and downs but never a close call, just the usual bumps and occasional turbulence, ice encounters (brief and managable by the way) and one or two missed approaches that I can recall. She will go when it is convenient for her but it is still a struggle. Any good ideas for encouragement? Thanks for joining up. Max is an inspiration to all of us and by the way he has fantastic pictures.
PL Peter, I don't like to fly. It's very rare I fly with Max for "fun", as in breakfast flights, etc. I do like to visit nice places. Because of that I tolerate the flying part to be in a warm place in January or a cool place in July or August. To get your wife to fly propose a really nice destination. If it has a beach or a spa that is a plus. Promote that to your wife. Places we've flown that got me excited and forgetting the flying part are Key West, Bar Harbor, Sedona, San Diego, Seattle, Cody (WY), Colorado mountains and many other places. I love new and exciting places. I tolerate the flying (but I pray a lot).
