We evaluated the SR22 as well back in 2008 - it would have worked quite well (big cabin for a four place). I wasn't keen on the Avidyne system however so we would have gone Perspective (Garmin) if we went the Cirrus route. I think R9 however for the Avidyne is a pretty significant improvement on functionality.
