(Of course, I do live near Daytona...) NASCAR does certainly have some redneck fans, but the newer fan base is a bit more sophisticated, particularly since the new generation of drivers ("stars") is in the limelight......Gordon, Johnson, Busch, Patrick, Montoya, Hamlin, etc.
