Hi Gang,

Here is the Pilatus PC-12 I shot footage of from my A-36. The wing was gusting and there was moderate turbulence. I would have picked a calmer day but there were other people involved and they wanted to go.

That N number was originally held by an Oklahoma based customer of mine and it was on the first NG factory demonstrator in the US...you have probably seen it on a different paint scheme bird (trim in black and lime color) and is one of the more common NG pictures used in marketing by various sources. My customer ended up changing their N number so N47NG became available a couple of years ago. They also ended up selling their PC12 and upgrading to an Excel.

A Pilatus PC 12 is a really nice airplane but its just not up to Bonanza standards. Lots of guys that own PC 12s are looking at us Bo guys with envy.

I had a very wealthy friend of mine name Nat. He has since passed. Nat owned many airplanes and was a true aviation enthusiast. He introduced me to "Jet Skiing" which is flying at 100' above the ocean surface in the Bahamas.

A year before Nat passed away he asked if I would take him out to the airport to see my Bo. We walked out to the ramp, he spent five minutes or so looking at the plane and asked if he could sit in it. I said sure of course. He sat in the plane for another five minutes, got out and said that of all the planes he owned his Bo was his favorite plane and that he wished he would just have kept it. Nat had a life well lived.

Hi Gang,
I added a photo of our group before the Pilatus shoot. I'm in my Bonanza with my camera stabilization system. During the shoot I sat behind my friend who flew my plane. Paul Bowen sat behind the copilot seat and did the stills. Paul is world famous for his vortice images. Currently my footage is running on Discovery/Smithsonian channel. It's on Mighty Planes Ski Bird. The C130 Hercules that goes to the North Pole on skis. I shot the Schnectady aerial footage from a jet ranger.
