Congratulations!

You will love flying that little bugger. I loved my J3 time, even if I was scrunched in tightly.

That is a beautiful cub! Congratulations! :pilot:

Please give us some more details on it.

And, by the way, what does your wife get for Christmas? :stir:

It's a 1941 with the 75HP motor in it. Nicely maintained/cared for. I plan on installing a wind generator under the belly to power a Mode C so we can fly it for client meetings all over the LA Basin (with a perma-grin)

Wife got an all new backyard - hardscape. I did my duty :D

If you need some help getting her home and taking care of that tailwheel endorsement along the way, let me know.

Alejandro...

Great minds think alike... I just bought a 46 J3 about 3 weeks ago. Currently getting the 65 hp swapped for an 85. Also, adding a starter.

A starter? Oh the horror!!
Just giving you a hard time. But don't heavy it up too much. They fly better light.
