I'm buying a J3 Cub for Christmas - here's pictures of the newest in the True-Course "fleet" for my BT Bros

Congrats! I have about 5 hours in one, and it was truly one of the most fun planes I've ever flown. If you need a tail wheel refresher, I highly recommend Mark King at CP (SZP). He's a BT'er and S35 owner too!

Wow, would like to have one of those as well. Can you give us any tips on how you handle it on the home front (SO)? Does a guy just do it and see if "papers" drop via certified mail from her lawyer? Do you like, beg? Do you just hide it?

How do we get the second airplane deal done?

I hope you're short. An instructor friend of mine has one and I started my tail wheel training in one. I'm 6'2" and trying to fly from the back doesn't work as with shoes on my feet would get hung up on the seat frame and fuselage. Couldn't smoothly operate the rudder at all. So I moved to the front. They built people smaller back in the day. I believe my knees were behind my ears, that's how cramped the front is. Make sure you get a flight in one before you buy. You couldn't give me a J3 but a PA-18 is much better for comfort.
