100HP is just too unrealistic. Bingo! How do they get to this level in life and not know this? They're smart enough to get this thing on the Today Show. They're not smart enough to know that nobody is going to pay $250K for such limited capability?

Why wouldn't you just buy one of these. http://www.lakeamphib.com/lakeamphib.htm? It is already certified and carries 4-6 people for the same cost!! Russ

Agreed, saw it a OSH last year and I though the price was in the $150 range, which is still too much for a 100hp (way underpowered) plane. I like the concept, the the mechanics for folding wings just look too heavy and complicated. There's other choices out there. Get a Widgeon.....
