Thanks for the welcome - mind you I have always felt welcome here! I neglected to say how much I appreciate the opportunity to belong to such a great forum like BT thanks to the efforts of the Jeffs, and support of the sponsors. My kids are lucky they take after their mother! cheers, Hugh

Hugh
The refurb was done at Flinders aviation and I am very happy with the result! I have been to Walca in my Bonanza - my log book says it was in June 2001. My only memories were that it was very cold although a very beautiful part of Australia.
Happy flying!

Goodmorning everyone, My- name is Dale Pritz and I'm a new "member" to the site, found it by accident what a good accident, A little about me, I'm married with 4 children and 1 spoiled granddaughter (and a spoiled Scottish Terrior too) I have been in the Collision Business all my life (5th generation) and own 2 Collision centers in Pa. I've been an active Pilot since 1981 ( Whew!that hurt feel old now) I started out owning a 1969 piper arrow, went through the "chain" of 200 arrows,114 Commanders, flew a Malibu for 2 years for a construction co,than a Meridian for 4 years till it got sold last year (everyone is hurtin, toys go first) and was out of a plane. My buddie in the hanger beside me has a beautiful V35, I always loved the Bonanza's but could just never pull the trigger on one, now since the economy is so bad, and the prices are so good, I got my chance. I'm the owner of N7BW, a 1973 A36 I bought from George Johnson at Carolina Aircraft Sales (the Bonanza Man) Man I love this plane, New paint, new interior, new engine, Chuck Ney Engines, (less than 100hrs on it) garmin mx200,gnx80, SL30,traffic,weather,charts,music,GPSS,Icarus, it's great!!,the guy before me spent a small fortune on this plane. I spend the winters back and forth between Key West and Pa, The meridian was much nicer for sure, but the Bonanza does the trip with ease, So that's pretty much my story, Glad I found this site looks like a lot of good Info here.....

My 73 A36 was the best plane I ever had and also had the best dispatch reliability of anything I had at 100% for 2 years. When you get back into a turboprop, we'll find you a nice King Air.....
