Something fishy about this thread. A wind up perhaps?

Man comes along, says his wife insisted he buy a Baron, friendly neighbour on tha act.

Takes a while to post a picture..........

This can't be all true!

Entirely believable. Hey, I ended up with an A36 the same way.

I got my license and was just looking for something with wings. I had targeted a C182. Wife sez she "doesn't like that wing over my head" and wants air conditioning. Got her a ride in an A36. Bought one.

Sometimes the best move is just to stand back and let things happen!

Dan

I have always used the easier to seek forgiveness than ask for approval :duck:

So far so good!

In a twin it would have to be a really nice turbine Duke to get away with it. Maybe a King Air.

Hey Jim, our son is being transfered to Pueblo later this year. We'll have to look you up when we head that way for a visit.

That's a nice plane. I looked at it briefly when I was looking 5 months back but it did not have the boots that I need for wonderful Buffalo winters. Good luck with it and yes it is great to have a wife who talks you into a plane instead of spending all her time trying to talk you out of it!!!
