So...I get this phone voice mail message: "Max, Keith Hale, there's a BT member flying his newly purchased Waco from my home base to Knoxville, DKX. He will land around 1230 can you go to the airport and meet him?" Well...I was already at the airport, phone on mute, attending an FAA Wings seminar, and I realized I had a new message. About an hour later the Waco entered the pattern, landed and taxied to the fuel pump. I helped the pilot with the ladder and fuel hose. Then we went to the FBO and I got him a free box lunch, roast beef sandwich, and we rode my golf cart to my hangar to hang out for a while. I took a sip of 18 yr. old Glenlivet and watched him drool (I'm mean.). It is rare I don't have a camera with me, but I did have a friend take a couple of low-res photos with my iPhone. I'll post those later. Fortunately, I saw a fellow videoing the Waco's takeoff roll and departure. I asked him to post the video to YouTube and e-mail me a link. I watched as the Waco flew over downtown Knoxville, following I-40 westward. It is a really beautiful airplane. The pilot is to RON in Springfield, TN. Maybe he'll post up this evening. He's planning on heading west early tomorrow morning.

I know the answer, but this game is fun. I'm looking forward to seeing this thing in person, and to add another hint, I can now fly his other plane.
