Finally Marc! I have been bursting at the seams with this secret I have had to carry for the last few months. I will say that Marc is now the owner of not just any old TBM 700C2 but a STUNNING TBM 700C2. I've seen many TBM's and most don't even come close to the pedigree of this one.

I really enjoyed working with Marc over the last few months not only in advising him on the purchase of this aircraft but also in the sale of his Baron. I can't wait to see the look on his face when the seller's broker delivers it up to his strip in the next week as I'll be there as well (with camera in hand, don't worry).

Congratulations Marc! Oh, and thank you for the kind comments. The pleasure is all mine.

-Neal

Wow!

The only bad thing I can say about those planes is that there is no elegant way for someone taller than about 5'2'' to get into the drivers seat. But I have said it before, I would probably get my legs shortened and a couple of vertebrae removed from my neck to fly one :peace: .

I'm 6' and can get into it! ...probably not all that graceful though. The TBM is much easier to get into the drivers seat than a Piaggio Avanti. You've got to be an acrobat to negotiate that move!

Florian, im 6' 1" and the TBM is not bad, with the cabinets removed, I can set back the crew seats a lot so its easier to get in.

The Meridian or Navajo is terible as you are restricted by the spar and the TBM you are sitting over the spar.

I'm 6'3'' and have some potential to 'recapture some useful load'. Only had the chance to sit in one on the ground and found the environment to be rather cozy. Dont recall whether that one had cabinets, was an A-model.

The PA46 was not designed with humanoids as the intended occupants of the crew seats.

I have a friend who just bought an almost identical airplane. 2005 with exact equipment (looks like to me anyway) although he has a pilot door (which also is a bit of an acrobatic move). Great airplane, fun to fly and really shortens up the country. You're gonna love it!
