Greetings Everyone!
I am a recently retired military pilot and now thoroughly enjoying civilian flying in Florida. Another former military pilot and I are just beginning the search for an airplane and we're both drawn to the V-tail Bonanza. This seems like a great place to learn and better understand what we're getting into!

What branch of service? And where are you located?

Welcome Tom. My next door neighbor is a retired Air Force pilot (F-100 and F-111), and he owned an N35 Bonanza for many years after he retired. He told me his airplane was the closest thing to a military fighter that he had ever flown. Unfortunately, he lost his medical and is relegated to flying with me now.

Retire Air Force and living near Fort Lauderdale. I flew RF-4, F-111, F-117 and a bit of C-21.

We had an Air Force exchange officer in our A7 squadron. Heck of a nice guy and impressive B52 background.... 23+ hour missions and all!! Whew!!
