Hello everyone!

Brand new here and enjoying browsing so far. I have been flying since 1990 and have enjoyed a career in aviation maintenance (mostly corporate) for that long. For the last 17 years, I have flown a Grob G115 single which I sold back in March. I bought a B55 recently and am having the shop clean up a few pre-buy items before I start flying her.

I have around 900 hours, but only 20-some multi. I am going to Simcom next week for the 3-day inital and will spend a bit of time with a seasoned CFII/MEI over the next weeks to complete the multi rating and build some time. Beautiful airplane and I can't wait to start flying her.

It has been fun over the last few weeks getting back in the books and refreshing myself on the instrument flying regs. I have also reintroduced myself to John and Martha. Some things change very little (snicker).

Great to be here and look forward to learning and sharing with the rest of Beech faithful.

Danno

Welcome on-board, Dan! Look forward to many posts from your experiences.

BTW, I just found out yesterday that KDWH is the closest airport to my nephew and his wife, so perhaps I'll stop in sometime to gawk at your new-to-you B55.

Hi Dan....welcome to our little part of the world. Personally, I would like to have a beer with John King. He seems to have a good sense of humor. Martha, not so much.

Now about those pictures of your plane (new one, old one...we are very much into pics) :D

Welcome Dan.

And yes, Steve, Martha King looks exactly like she did when I took her Private Pilot weekend ground school in 1975. It's uncanny.
