So what do we make of this? Perhaps this why there was a change of leadership recently. I know there are some issues with the source but if much of this is true it reflects poorly on a few folks.

I could not possibly try to characterize this story. It's simply too strange.

This is already nasty, and dangerous, and it appears to be getting uglier by the minute.

Tom, I don't think this pissing match is anything new. I don't follow it closely, but when I read today's installment I did not see anything that I had not heard before.

Well, maybe he was being more critical of Dale than I recall.

Not to be a defender of Cirrus, but you have to consider that the author has a bully pulpit. He speaks of journalistic principles, but I suspect he doesn't fully understand them as you and I were taught.

I could not finish the article because he spent too much time telling me nothing except that they were upset for Cirrus selling to the Chinese.

What I do not understand is what ANN did for Cirrus?

Are they journalists or do they act like NBC and promote those that pay them and tear down those that do not?

Wow. That is an understatement. If *any* of that is true... holy crap.

What's more, it seems pretty unlikely that it would be untrue. Most of that is easily verified. There are too many players involved and too many specific facts for it to be contrived without being proven false.

It doesn't look like that story is over. So, it's a war between someone with a bag of money and someone else who buys ink by the barr... well, buys bits by the mega.

I personally wouldn't touch a new Cirrus unless I found this info proven false.

Dan

Gil, I don't disagree with you at all. Just another strange story.

I've got a fair amount of Cirrus time (+500 hours)

Wouldn't trade my Bo for one. Ever.

Too bad, really.

He sure sounds bitter, angry, and even downright paranoid. That's not an example of just-the-facts journalism.

Of course, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they aren't actually out to get you...

AH! I saw that title, but I couldn't tell what it was about, so I didn't read it.

I skip more threads than I read, based on the titles.

Please merge threads.

He has the distinction of being one of the few people ever to have received a psychiatric diagnosis issued by the NTSB:

I just skimmed a bit, but he tried to jump off the World Trade Center? Same guy?
