Hi all, I have been looking at the forum for a while and made some posts. But did not do this introduction page. So here goes. I have a K35 that I love and that is a good thing as it sure does eat into the available funds. Fly and fix, fix and fly. Nevertheless, I have come to the thought that they can just throw me out of the nursing home later in life. I can sit on the curb and look at my logbooks and be happy. I'm a doctor--a pediatric sub-specialist ( gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition). Site of work is a university and children's hospital. I did aviation medicine in the Navy and got to fly in or have the stick on some great airplanes ( TA4J, huey, cobra, C12, P3 Orion, C12, F4), some carrier traps and stuff like that. You could pull my wisdom teeth without anesthesia for a chance for some more Navy jet time. Did AME for a good long time but inactive as just not enough time because of job number 1. Love flying. Love my plane. How magic. We get to see and experience things that were impossible for the richest kings of the past. Did the formation clinic with the NE group (great fun==old squadron CO there), and going to OSH for the first time. Look for the plane with the new engine and prop and ignore the fading paint and interior. There are a lot of fun and informative posts on these forums. Later.
