Hi Arlen WOW!...that was fast!....You Americans don't muck around. You asked for fotos of my GY80....I'll have a go at posting a couple (I have hundreds, of course)...first I will just have to study the procedure for doing this (I'm a newby at this). Re the "gear in action"....I would also like to see it!.....I've wound it up and down many times (19 turns of crank)....but, as you can imagine, I can't see the result, apart from the flaps. I am eventually going to obtain a pair of jacks so that I can see how it works. The system is mechanical (rods), with indicator lights, and lock. Also, if I throttle back , as if preparing to land, an electric horn will hoot if gear not down. My landing check is to see 1. a green light, 2. flaps are both down (thus so must be the gear)....and 3. crank handle lock is in "down" position. I plan to instal one of those minicams under the belly, to get video of gear in operation and touchdowns & takeoffs. I'll go work on foto upload now . yours, Allan
