					| I rode on the Qantas A380 back in August from LA to Melbourne. It is really an impressive aircraft...the quietest I've been on.

					| The other day, I got onto a Delta flight last-minute and ended up in the cheap seat in row 29 on a DC-9. Your head is about 2ft from the blades of the first compressor stage . Looking at the images of this uncontained failure with pieces sticking out of the top of the wing makes me feel really warm and fuzzy.....

That airplane is uncertifiable today (at least with the seats back there) as part 25 has new rotor burst zone requirements._________________

Bloomberg reports this was a Rolls engine.
