I flew one of these at Houston Hobby in sept 1967 notes in my log book jogged my memory aircraft was nice flying had more power and ROC than c172 however was very noisy a lot of wind leakage and most all small parts were rough and seats and upholstery were pretty low quality. Honestly my opinion was it appeared to be made in Korea, or Mexico.

I said "The NEW LSAs" - Cubs, Ercoupes, and Aeroncas not included in that class. I might make an exception for the new Icon amphibian.

The new ICON Amphib is sharp looking. My guess is that its performance is less so, but you do have to give those folks an "A" for design. We live on a river and it would be fun, to be sure.
