I am the proud owner of a 2007 Bonanza G36. After being bitten by the aviation bug about 5 years ago I obtained my private pilot license in a 1978 172XP. I guess you could say I decided to "upgrade". I bought the plane in December of 2009, just in time to take advantage of some good tax breaks, and I have been flying her quite a bit in the last 9 months. I have put 167 hours on her in that time period while working toward my instrument rating. I just passed my written and am scheduled for my practical on September 24.
The previous owner added many upgrades including DeShannon tip tanks with the gross weight increase to 4010 pounds. The fuel gauge has given me nightmares, but that's for another post. Anyway, glad to be on Beechtalk and I hope I don't wear folks out with too many questions.

Thomas,
Welcome to BT and congratulations on your new purchase, please post some pictures of your G36.
If you get bored practicing approaches around GGG come on over to CRS and I'll spot you to some lunch.
Good luck on your PTS, I am sure you will do fine.
Best wishes,
Chris
