Just found this site and I love it...learning a lot. In fact, I thought I wanted to get a Mooney, but I can see that I am eventually going to end up with a Beech, so why take the middle step? I am fairly new pilot, got PPL in 2005 and have mostly C182 time. I am currently in a club, but would like to purchase my own plane.

My only experience with a Beech was memories of flying in my Dads A36 20 year ago. I have always heard after you fly a Bonanza, nothing is the same. That seems to be confirmed after reading this forum for a few hours. I think I am a Beech fan and I have never flown one (is that possible?)

I would LOVE to go for a ride in somebody's Bonanza/Deb. Anybody in AZ willing to give a new guy a ride? I live in Gilbert and fly out of P19. I will pay for fuel of course.

Welcome aboard, Greg. Fill out your profile, especially your location - you'll notice that almost everyone here has done that. You'll get a better response to requests that way.

I will, I will! I have a P Baron and a BO (for sale - full disclosure). I would be happy to take you for a ride in either one. We could shoot up to Prescott for breakfast. The Baron goes in for annual Monday morning, and the BO is out in Lake Havasu. When are you hoping to go?

Greg, looks like Jesse is all fired up tp help you out. That's great. There is a list of pilots on the ABS web site that will do the same. Just follow this link, http://www.bonanza.org/Test-Flight/.

Wow, you guys are great! More response than I expected. I don't want to five the impression that I am looking to buy anybody's airplane though. I am more interested in checking one out and seeing what the fuss is all about...which I am sure will lead to me buying one in the future. I probably won't be purchasing within the next year.

With that said, I would love to go for a ride in somebody's Bo. If fact if somebody is willing to go tomorrow morning, I could meet them at P19 in Chandler, AZ. Short notice I know, just throwing it out there.

P.S. - I was in Marana last Saturday for breakfast.

I can offer a ride in the Baron tomorrow, however, it sounds like the BO is what you are after. I will send you a PM with my contact info. Maybe we can connect a little later when I have the BO in town.

PS - I only mentioned the sale because I did not want you to feel uncomfortable when you saw the signs on the plane. I would be happy to take you for a ride just for the fun of it. I transitioned out of a 182 as well. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Maybe one of the Tucson boys can pull of a flight in their BO tomorrow.

If you guys fly somewhere for breakfast, let me know. I'll meet you there.

Welcome Greg. I am based at KRYN and spend lots of time chummin around airports in Southern AZ! I can offer either a B36TC or 58 baron. Anything Beech is amazing so have fun and take advantage of all the offers you can.

Any other AZ BTrs interested in meeting up in Prescott for Breakfast tomorrow? He is really looking to ride in a BO and mine is out in Lake Havasu. I could fly him to Prescott and he could ride back to Phoenix in a Bo.

Another new member in AZ. Just purchased a B35. Been away from flying for the last 25yrs. Just glad that I had a fair amount of complex and twin time, made flying my bonanza a lot easier. Just finished the owners assist annual,learned a lot about the aircraft.

Jesse was kind enough to take me out in his Baron this morning...it was incredible. He is a heck of a nice guy and I really appreciate the introduction to Beech airplanes. Unfortunatley for me though, I used to think the C182 was kind of a nice airplane. I have been ruined for life! I know one thing for sure, when it comes time to purchase a plane, it will definately say Beech on it!
