Hi to all -
I'm delighted to have been referred to this forum yesterday and looking forward to enjoying all it has to offer! My name is Leigh from South Carolina and I own a lovely Debonair. My husband is also a corp pilot and owns a 55 Baron so we are no strangers to the Beech scene.
I've already laughed so hard at so many of the wonderful threads going on... "high maintenance women" in particular!
I finally learned the key for a high maintenance women is to marry a HIGHER maintenance man!!
Thanks for the opportunity to join the boys club, you won't be disappointed!
Leigh

Hey Leigh!

These guys have tons of advice (and some of it is actually good)!

When you start your restoration project you will have to post all the before and after pics so we can oogle them.

Larry Olson advised me to look for a new wife in another thread. Let's see, you fly a Deb. How's your marriage? Welcome from the heartland.

@ John - thank you! i guess it takes one to know one, and like wise to you and your Deb!!

@ Tom - i'm sorry you've been given such a directive... but it took me a while to finally find a great guy and he's a keeper! (of course, his baron was quite a draw too!!) ;)

Yea,

Welcome aboard. Columbia is a neat place. Rick Ott is at your field and will probably chime in, and I have a brother there so I get in town occasionally.

Nice to have "his" and "hers" airplanes....

And Tom, .... I didn't say you had to get rid of the first wife.... just get one that likes tanks running dry.....

Thanks for the note Larry -
and yes, Rick is actually in the hangar row right behind us.
he knows my husband but i'm afraid we haven't met yet.
Columbia is great, easy to get anywhere in a 3hr flight or less - i lived in atlanta for years (KPDK) and love not having the congestion to contend with anymore (both street and air traffic!!)
what does your brother do here?
