Hi all, my name is Ian and I’m the proud new owner of a 1961 “Vee tail”. It is my first plane. I purchased her from a friend and the two of us flew it across the country from Georgia to Oregon where it’s now based at HIO. He’ll still be around on the forums, but my guess is he will be spending more time browsing the twin section now since he’s also a proud new Beech owner, but of a Baron. I just wanted to say hello and thank everyone in advance for answering all my newbie questions that I’m sure I will be asking. Attachment: IMG_3744.jpeg Ian

Welcome Ian, I am based at HIO in the NE T’s, though I fly a red and white Mooney rather than a Bonanza. A whole group of pilot folk hang out at hangar B5 on Thursday evenings, you should stop by and I’ll introduce you to the others.

Welcome Ian, Glad to have another V-tail in the Pacific Northwest. You're gonna love your V-tail! It's a magic carpet to the coast, the San Juans, Victoria BC, the list goes on and on! Come to Hood River and check out the WAAM museum, it's pretty awesome.
