Latitude Aviation is proud to represent N850AX, which is a 2-owner since new 2010 TBM 850 based in Steamboat Springs, CO.

N850AX is low time with only 1655 total time and 151 since an extensive and very thorough hot section inspection (due to several engine exceedances noted by AVEX at an annual inspection in 2023). It also has a fresh overhaul on the 5 blade propeller. The maintenance pedigree is fantastic with largely in-network service center maintenance throughout its whole life. The last 3 annual inspections have been performed by AVEX in Denver, CO.

Some notable upgrades include the G1000 NXI, AVEX nose baggage upgrade, and the Down Time Aviation nose gear shimmy dampener modification.

The cosmetics are consistent with 15 year old aircraft with almost 1700 hours on it.

The only damage history that I could find was a propeller strike on landing back in 2011 but there was no airframe damage as a result of this incident. This type of propeller strike is unfortunately fairly common in the TBM world and results in an engine IRAN and propeller overhaul/replacement. The affected propeller was later replaced with a 5 blade version in 2019.

The spec sheet is pasted below and has a Dropbox link that will take you to the logbooks, maintenance status sheet, high resolution photo gallery, 337's and some other documents. Thank you!

Serious question - what's up with the toupee on the throttle?

That’s a first! I never thought that handle was uncomfortable, but learned early on most power changes were made by three fingers on the stalk.

Really great sequence of the TBM line. My business partner had a fairly close serial number, just a great plane.
