Tony,

I'll send my numbers, etc., by PM. I look forward to a visit. I've had several friends on duty at UT Hospital over the years. My next door hangar neighbor is a "gas doc" there. The former Chairman of the Med. School was a very close friend for many, many years.

I would not ride the US Hwy 129 "Dragon", on a motorcycle, on a one-sided bet (but I fly over it). Current accident rate requiring EMS service is over 200 per year and fatalities average 6~10 per annum.

See you in Knoxville!

Hi! My name is Dan. I own a Beech Debonair, live near Denver, CO, and fly out of BJC. I have been flying since 1978, and have the CFI-MEI ratings. I have limited finances for flying, so am always trying to find ways to keep the plane flying safely at relatively low cost. I have attached a photo of my plane at LMO, where I usually stop for gas because it's much cheaper there!

Welcome aboard Dan. Great looking Deb! Thanks for the tip on cheap fuel at LMO. I will be flying out to Colorado next month.

Dan,

Welcome to BT.....I can relate.....I have Barron aspirations on a C150 budget but manage to keep the wheels up. You'll learn and laugh a lot here!

Welcome aboard, Dan. Sweet looking ride, but I think she has one too many appendages back on the empennage area... :box:

See you in Knoxville!

I've ridden the dragon so many times, I've named the gouges in the pavement, and can recognize the paint streaks on the trees.
I've not been back since I moved to Texas, but it is by far the BEST motorcycling road I've ever seen.
The problem is that just like with most things, a bunch of Squids, and (under) proficient RUBS who drink more beer than they ride miles ruin it for everyone.
I'd love to get back there sometimes.

I shot a few new pics of 52A in her element. I still think she's pretty hot for a 60 year-old. And you'll notice she doesn't have any extra junk in the trunk.
OBTW, I have a couple of short video clips. Can they be attached the same way as images? I tried, but got tired of waiting. (If I was patient I would fly a Cessna;-)

Great pictures Tim! Hey...do you know Chris Moursund? He's a reservist T-45 IP at Kingsville. I work with him at Continental.

Yes, I know Chris. Saw him in Strike Ops just last week. He didn't have any ideas about how to post videos to the site though...

Ha...yea, sorry for the thread drift. I just met him last week for a weeklong training event in New Mexico and just realized when you posted these awesome pictures that you might know him. Great guy...and yea, he definitely has no clue how to post videos from what I can tell (far more comfortable out in the field than in front of a computer!). Your best bet is to upload them to www.youtube.com and then post the links to the videos here.

Tim, I saw those pictures on flightaware.com and thought the Bo looked familiar. The new paint looks good
