Engine-out procedure was to wear a parachute; it would fly much higher than shown in that video. Today, they'd just put a BRS in the bike.

They dubbed over the sound. Wonder why?

You probably need to be jockey weight to fly it, and just a bit insane.

Probably because it is.

If it is, someone did a really good job modeling jet blast effects on the ground.

I suspect it is real in the sense the video does show something flying under its own power.

As for it being the "future of mobility", well, no.

Could be fake, and I thought that at first too, but I looked back at Yves Rossi and he hovered with 4 of those mini-jets, the bike looks big enough to have packaged 4 of those within the “fuselage”, so maybe. . . what could go wrong?

When the person slows, hovers, and waves, they seem unstable and nervous about removing their hand from the controls. As they turn, you can see it is pretty unstable. Makes me think it is not fake. But… yeah, no thanks.

I'd ride it....low and slow or high and fast with a chute but wouldn't be thrilled about the in between parts.
