Scott, Welcome - Great looking plane. But really you should run! Forget you ever found this place or just submit now and realize this is going to take a LOT of your surfing time. "Resistance is Futile" -MO

Just found this site, and have been flying Bonanzas for 20 years. I go through the twin versus single ownership exercise about once a year! Love the economics of the Bonanza, and it seems to work well for most of my missions,. I am running out of room for options on the panel, but have found that it is still pretty easy to find new toys!
Scott Wakeman N996V WST & LEB Welcome Scott, Your plane is about as good as it gets.... You can argue a twin, but will probably have less panel space. The Baron will give you better loading flexibility and the nose baggage is nice, but your operating costs will go up. Could argue that one forever...... What's in your panel, and what are you adding, or thinking about adding?

Hi All, Great site guys! We live in Orinda CA (about 10 miles east of San Francisco), keeping our V35A hangered at Buchanan Field (CCR) located in Concord, CA. Beautiful wife Susie, , and two wonderful kids (Kyle 8 & Kaylie 10). I've spent the last 25 years managing sales and operations in the building material industry. Three years ago, Susie and I formed a small lumber company which specializes in the distribution of sustainable wood products. One of our most talked family vacation was our trip to OSH in 2007. We camped at the North 40 and met a lot of nice people. This past year, we flew to the San Juan Islands (NE Washington) - a must see if you haven't gone. This year, I'll be returning to the backcountry strips of Idaho along with a friend of mine and our two boys. I look forward to learning more about our planes and getting to know my fellow aviators. If anyone is ever flying out this way, please look me up. John Parr

Guys let me tell you John and Susie know how to pack a plane! What their picture doesn't show is the rest of the stuff that they were able to pack, along with their kids, into their Bo. Talk about safety of flight, there must have been no hard surface exposed in that cockpit, everything was padded with camping gear! The rest of the story is that we actually first met in the chow line, in the rain, at one of the B2OSH functions at Oshkosh a couple of days previously. Super nice folks and very polite kids. Didn't really think I'd see them again, but a few days later, and a couple of thousand miles West, we meet again. Thirty minutes plus or minus on either end and it would not have happened. One of those many small coincidences that make life so rewarding. This is another example of the type of things that happen at Oshkosh. I've only been once, but met a lot of very nice people who all share our common love for things Beechcraft. I'll go back for sure. Heck, I probably even met Max on that trip! Here are a couple of more photo's that Susie took that morning at Yellowstone. She's good!

Howdy! I fly a '08 -58, that really spoils me. I graduated from OSU last May. While there, I worked line service in Tulsa, eventually flying a hunk of aluminum from Brand P. (I still have nightmares) We took delivery of our Baron in October and have been flying the wings off ever since. When we don't fly I do some accounting, IT and AutoCAD work for our company. Sorry for the low resolution of the photo, I'll have some more when it gets to be warm outside...
